Sara Rego is a sustainability researcher, professional, and speaker. With a PhD in Sustainability Communication, a Master's degree in International Affairs, and a Master's degree in Communication Sciences, she embodies a commitment to driving change. Over the past five years, she has collaborated with numerous organizations and companies, successfully guiding them to implement powerful corporate sustainability strategies while fostering a culture of open dialogue and effective communication. Last year, she launched the "We Need to Act" podcast to ignite sustainability education and raise awareness on crucial issues. Additionally, she has created innovative educational programs for children that use gamification, making the journey of learning about sustainability engaging and impactful.

With over 5 years of experience in the creative industry and a Master's Degree in Design and Visual Culture, I’ve learned how to transform ideas into visuals that matter. As a freelancer, I work with organisations aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) to visually tell their stories.

Michelle Whiting

Communications Manager

Michelle is a communications strategist and filmmaker focusing on climate and social impact. She draws on her background in decarbonization strategy and her work as a dancer and choreographer, blending technical and visual arts perspectives to shape her approach to climate communications. She works with NGOs and development organizations on communications strategy, policy content, and ethical storytelling. Michelle holds an MA in Sustainability from Wake Forest University and a BA in International Studies from UNC Wilmington. Her first documentary, Setting Out for Sustainability, received the Award of Exceptional Merit at the Nature Without Borders International Film Festival and was an official selection at the Eugene Environmental Film Festival.
